A Bit More Tastes...

I Haven't Tried It...But I'll Bet It's Good

China Town San Francisco! Above: Dried mushrooms displayed in the window of Nam Hai, Corp. Below, a very common display in China Town. Roast ducks hanging in the window of Yee's Restaurant. A good place for dim sum when in China Town.

Back in North Beach, yet another famous place- The Stinking Rose Restaurant. I've walked back and forth in front of this place many times. I've even been inside to look at their menu. Still, I have not eaten here. I know that day is coming soon!

The Cowgirl Creamery in the Ferry Building on San Francisco's Embarcadero. The Ferry Building has since been converted to a large market full of the best foods and specialty items California has to offer.

I used to walk along the Embarcadero frequently to forget my problems. Though I don't live in the Bay area anymore, I still imagine myself walking the promenade from time to time. I have seen the Embarcadero change little by little over the years. The Ferry Building becoming a public market has been a very wonderful change on San Francisco's waterfront.

I thought this cheese market was very enticing so I snapped a photo!

If there is anything I love better than an Italian restaurant, it's an Italian market. The Pasta Shop is adjacant to Peaberry's Cafe on College Avenue. If variety is the spice of life, these people certainly know what they're doing. I'm like a kid in a candy store when I walk through The Pasta Shop.

The black rustichella spaghetti is colored with squid ink. I tried it once in a restaurant in Berkeley and it wasn't bad!
